    very helpful self help book.

    a very scientific based approach to self help for anxiety disorders, I found it very good and after getting used to his voice, pretty well narrated.
    would recommend for anyone trying to overcome the hard road of managing a anxiety disorder.

    Overcome your anxiety

    Listened to this book many times and not tired of it once, very helpful in times of need. His voice is easy to listen to and not at all annoying. Would recommend this book to everyone.

    Used for Anxiety, Insomnia and Sinus Tachycardia

    Got this for someone with interrelated problems of anxiety, insomnia and sinus tachycardia. It helped a lot with the anxiety side of things which in turn helped the others. Dr Lewis speaks calmly and confidently giving advice on practical steps that worked well to enhance confidence.

    Awful in just about every way

    written by an academic for God knows who, narrated by the author which was a bad decision. it might relieve anxiety by sending you to sleep but that's about it.

    Fantastic anxiety resource

    Would you listen to Overcome Anxiety again? Why?

    Yes! This is a great book to have in audio, as well as paperback, for those times when you are too anxious to read! It's packed with powerful, practical strategies for dealing with all kinds of anxiety, combining the latest research and cutting edge treatments with empathy and compassion. I also found the author's voice reassuring and calming which was a bonus. Really fab.

    Please match the Chapter Numbers!

    Haven't finished yet - but why do the Chapter Numbers not match the narrative?!
    Is it not possible for this change to be made with Audio books - It drives me nuts! (Also why can't the Meditations be included in the book - Instead of being sent to Soundcloud and getting rather poor audio quality?)
    - Will update when I have actually listened to the whole book :)

    Excellent, practical book

    Excellent book that was just what I needed at the time. A good balance of the scientific explanations, clearly explained and accessible and practical exercises that were well explained and very effective. I now understand my anxiety far better and what to do about it. Clear, effective, and practical.

    too theoretical hard to relate

    strong accent hard to understand
    and too theoretic and examples are not practical to normal non phd people
