I love every magical book this author writes, and this book and series is no different. Outclass: Spellslingers Academy takes the familiar academy fantasy setup and gives it real energy. The pacing is tight, the magic system feels fresh, and the characters aren’t just cardboard cut-outs. They actually grow as the story moves on.

What really makes me happy is how the female characters are written. They are not just sidekicks or love interests. They hold power, make mistakes, and carve out their own space in the story. There is something affirming about seeing women in fantasy worlds who are unapologetically complex, strong, and sometimes vulnerable too.

The book balances action with character work. Yes, there are magical duels and big stakes, but it is the friendships, rivalries, and the way the characters claim their voice that gives the book heart. The academy setting is vivid. You can almost walk the halls alongside them.

It is fun, fast, and engaging, but it is also quietly empowering. If you like academy fantasy with clever twists, strong women, and a protagonist you can actually root for, this is one worth picking up.
