A really fantastic book ,brilliantly narrated 🙂

An absolutely superbly written book which was wonderfully read and had me hooked from the beginning right until the end.
The way that the narrator read the story made it very special ,all the voices made it a real fun and an enjoyable listen .
Really looking forward to the next one in the series and would definitely recommend this book 👍🏻

A slice of teen horror 👀

With echoes of Final Destination, Ouija is a great old-school teen horror story with plenty to keep you on your toes. Though set in the modern era, this has a real 90s vibe (for me anyway) and is reminiscent of a good old fashioned slasher. If creepy old dolls and sinister demons float your boat, then this one’s for you. Very well narrated, too.

Review

I enjoyed revisiting Ouija and, if anything, loved it even more the second time round. The Audible narration definitely helped with this as the atmosphere which kept me hooked as I was reading felt more tangible when I was listening thanks to the narrator's engaging reading style. I felt that all the emotions the author wanted me to feel were evident in the narration.

When I first read Ouija, I loved the characters and felt that Zoé-Lee O'Farrell had captured the characters of the teenagers in particular really well. Luke William Bromley does a fantastic job of bringing them to life and making their discussions animated. He also uses a slightly different accent for each character so it's easy to tell who is speaking the whole way through.

The ending of Ouija is very tense and the narrator is wonderful at conveying this to the audience. Once again, I was totally on edge as the story reached its conclusion!

OK but not amazing

This was an OK book, the narrator wasn't the best I've heard and could be a little monotone at times. The plot was pretty weak and generic but passable.
