Story
The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the Native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon came ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There went the good old days, when humans got killed only by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Story
After endless years of fighting in a galaxy-wide war, the most decorated super-soldier of the Old Federation was granted leave, sliding into a stasis tube aboard a sleeper ship. The ship never reached its port, and the soldier woke up a thousand years later on an operating table. The Old Federation was gone, most planets hurled back into the Stone Age. A devastated Earth used spies instead of spaceships to compete against the tougher, richer worlds.

Story
In the twentieth century Earth sent probes, transmissions and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy.

Abandon Ship

Summary
The Omnian expeditionary fleet sails for the faraway place they call "the wall". The worlds of humankind have consolidated their resources to create a powerful armada to confront the alien federation.
During the Omnians' previous encounter with an alien fleet at the wall, the Nua'll comm sphere spoke to them in multiple languages. When the messages were deciphered by SADEs, the humans' digital friends, the Omnians realized two things. One, they would face a vast empire composed of hundreds of races, and, two, the Nua'll were not the leaders of the federacy. They had spoken of masters.
Multiple challenges faced Alex Racine, the Omnian leader, to cobble together the fleet he required. The Confederation, which was composed of many colonies, could produce ships, but most of its people lacked the will to fight. Haraken and New Terra were worlds with limited material production capability. But they produced individuals who were anxious to deliver a blow against the federation.
A debate raged over whether humans should flee, wait, or fight the onslaught of giant spheres, which ravaged humankind's worlds, and the probes that spied on them. It was Alex Racine's choice to confront the alien race. Anything less was only delaying the inevitable.
The Omnians knew nothing about what they would find beyond the wall, where the federation's enormous empire lay. Alex knew he couldn't defeat the federacy in a long series of protracted engagements. His plan was to attempt to conquer and divide. He just needed to find the right sentient race for his idea to work.

Gripping
I have enjoyed reading the Silver Ship Series. Here we are at book number eleven and, if anything, it is more exciting and gripping than book ten. If that is even possible.
What I like most about the series is the SADEs. They are artificial intelligent computers that have taken on a human form. Alex Racine and entourage are facing a big battle and all is on the line. The book is well written and is action packed. I feel as if all the characters are my friends now and I am fighting along side them. I enjoy the humor Jucha scatters throughout the story. I found this book most difficult to put down. Looking forward to book twelve.
The book is fourteen hours thirty-five minutes. Grover Gardner does an excellent job narrating the series. Gardner is one of my favorite narrators. Audiofile Magazine called Gardner one of the “Best Voices of the Century”. Publisher Weekly named him Audiobook Narrator of the Year in 2005. Gardner has won three of the prestigious Audie Awards as well as many Earphone Awards. Gardner is an actor. He has built his own recording studio in Maryland and is a full-time narrator.

The best & The worst !
Why the best?
Because the author S. H. Jucha have outdone himself.
Why the worst?
Because another book must be written to end this story.
When I noticed this series it showed a 10 audiobooks series, and on Audible it normally shows blank areas for book which are not ready or available yet which here it didn’t show so when I got all 10 audiobooks in one buy I was sure that I got the whole series.
But to my surprise while I was at around book 5 another book arrived “ Nua’ll “ audiobook number 11.
So I just finished listening to the most amazing audiobook that this author have wrote for this excellent series and when I say that he has outdone himself I truly mean it, this story of David against David against Goliath just got so much better which nobody could have excepted or foreseen !
What else was unforeseen is that now it’s suffering time waiting for the ending to be written because unlike each one of the first 10 which had a beginning and an ending, this book is really only a half of one.
As usual perfect narration by Grover Gardner.
Absolutely full heartedly recommend this book without any doubts.

Just keeps getting better and better
when I first started this series I found it intriguing so I moved on to several of the next books in series. the author is exceptional in his ability to create multiple interesting characters while at the same time designing their interactions so that it's easy to keep track of Who's Who. he is also very good at creating storylines that are in thrall Ling and often emotionally charged. I highly recommend you start at the beginning of this series and follow it all the way through.

Becoming Tiresome
While, I enjoyed this series when I first started listening to it, I must admit that it is becoming tiresome and unenjoyable. The author is quite capable. But,I have come to the conclusion that the author is just dragging out the storyline in order to sell a few more books.
