What happens when the watcher becomes the watched? Jack has it all – a beautiful wife and daughter, a home, a career. Then his wife Rebecca plunges to her death from the Sussex coast cliffs. Was it an accident or did she jump? He moves to Manchester with his daughter, to start afresh… but things don’t go as planned. He didn’t think life could get any worse... Then, Jack sees a woman in a window who is the image of Rebecca. Attraction turns into obsession as he returns to the window night after night. But he isn’t the only one watching her... Jack is about to be drawn into a deadly game. The woman lies dead. The latest victim in a series of savage murders. Someone is going to go down for the crimes. If Jack doesn’t find out who the killer is, that 'someone’ may well be him. ‘Fast-moving action and lots of twists.’ The Times.©2018 Ben Cheetham (P)2019 W. F. Really liked the story, but if you’re going to narrate a story set in Manchester you really need to be a northerner or at least be able to do Manc accents convincingly. This narrator absolutely can’t, every accent not southern was like some sort of parody. On top of constantly mispronouncing simple words, and mispronouncing La Traviata as La Triviata until halfway through she drove me a bit mad. The story kept me going through, but I’d consider reading a paper book of this instead.

Terrible choice of narrator

Not Ben cheatham usual standard.
Narrater didn't help. If this was my first Ben cheatham it would have been my last

story was ok but the constant Rebecca reminiscing was really annoying, ok I get it was part of the story but every other line! it really took away from the actual plot I found it broke up the flow of the dialog. it was though an ok book but it could have been a good hour shorter and more fluid without the Rebecca interruptions.

way too much Rebecca!!

I cannot believe the narrator’s constant ridiculous voice changes were allowed for this audiobook!! Absolutely absurd that someone would actually speak like that in reality. The normal narration would have been bearable. That’s all!

The narrator’s changing voices

Dont give up on this well thought out intense plot, would make a great tv mini series.
