i get the impression that the bobiverse has run out of steam. The three or so plots are pretty vanilla and nothing much really happens. Theres no real climax or twist. I don't think this book was really needed.

It felt like the first book again. It’s not perfect. It could do with a bit more action. But it sets up the stage for interesting things in the series. It leaves you wanting more.

Having read all the Bobbyverse series a very long time ago I found this book a good extension but there were so many references to historical events without any refresher, that it distracted from the overall story. Having said that there were a few times when I laughed out loud

I like the writers humour illustrated in his writings. I would urge anyone with a sarcastic sense of humour to try the series of books out.
