A Most Excellent Ending to the Trilogy

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the 2015 Trilogy. It has enough excitement for anyone who enjoys Johansen's "Eve Duncan" series. I'm not sure how I missed the first two books coming out but I'm very glad I did, as listening to all three in a matter of days and back to back was the best way to listen to this series! If you're wanting an exquisite series to listen too, this is it!

A bit far fetched

and slow moving at times, but worth the listen.
Enjoyed the narrator.
Looking forward to more Eve and family.

Love the story. Hate the narration.

Good story line. Elisabeth Rogers fake southern accent is TERRIBLE! It's as if she got it from Gone with the Wind. Kinda makes those parts a little unbearable to listen to.

Narration distracted from plot

What did you like best about Night and Day? What did you like least?

This is a continuation of a story line. I read the others in print, but got this one on audio. It was a mistake. Eve Duncan is a strong woman, as is Jane, and the little girl Cara, is certainly tough for her age. BUT- the narrator made Eve and Jane seem like needy shrinking violets, and made Cara seem like a whiny child.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's hard not to love Jock!

How could the performance have been better?

With a different narrator. I can't image ever reading a Harry Dresden or Jonathan Quinn book in print - the narrators really add so much to the story. This was the opposites. The voices used for the characters just grated, especially the voice for the spirit of Eve's daughter, Bonnie. Ugh.

Could you see Night and Day being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No.

Any additional comments?

If you like the Eve Duncan storyline, I'd stick with print.

Terrible story

Just terrible. What a waste of time. Odd relationship between 12 year old and a grown man.
