Summary

From the number one New York Times best-selling author comes a new explosive thriller featuring forensic sculptor Eve Duncan.

Iris Johansen returns with a thrilling novel of action and danger where fan favorite Eve Duncan is thrown once more into a deadly game of intrigue. It begins when Eve receives a package containing a skull - and instructions for Eve to do her work reconstructing it.

When she does, a beautiful woman's face emerges. But when Eve is introduced to the dead woman's mirror image, a game is on where her twin's life hangs in the balance.

Eve Duncan and the Family

I bought this hard cover edition for myself as a present for Christmas. Then with having a new granddaughter, holiday baking, etc., I treated myself with the Audible Edition.

The Eve Duncan Series reeled me me years ago and still continues.

Thank you Iris Johansen.

Absolutely delicious performance.

The story line was great. The narrator did an exceptional bringing each individual character to life, which can at times, be hit or miss. One of the best reads in a long time for me.

A Great Story Continues

First I have to say what an amazing performance it was by Elisabeth Rodgers, she can do so many different male & female characters & foreign accents. Another terrific story, great intrigue. Wanted more from Cara & Jock, and Jane & Seth. Maybe the next one.

Disappointing

I love Iris Johansson books! I usually can’t wait to read her latest, but this one seemed to drag. Not only was it slow, but the emotions of the characters were a little “sappy.” I wasn’t thrilled with the narrator, either. She dropped her voice so low sometimes I was constantly turning the volume up, and down. I finished it, but, would not recommend it. Not her usual best.

Too sappy

I have been a fan of the Eve Duncan series but this storyline was simply sappy. The narrator was very good, it was just poor writing this time. The dialogue dragged and was simplistic and I’m sorry, but what 18 year old talks like they have the feelings and maturity of someone that’s 40? I kept listening with hopes of improvement but it never came. Hope the next one is better.
