This is the first book in the Blue Sky Bay series, a charming small-town, second-generation romance. OMG—Beekcake’s story!! We first met him in Magnolia Falls / Beating Heart (book 4) and later in Rosewood River. As Nash’s son, he completely steals the show—adorable, funny, charismatic, and incredibly smart.

I loved Cutler/Beekcake and Gracie’s sweet friends-to-lovers romance. Their story is beautifully written, funny, heartwarming, passionate and engaging. Cutler is such a great man—handsome, supportive, and caring. Gracie is beautiful, smart, and determined. They are perfect together. It was amazing to see characters again from the Magnolia Falls and Rosewood River series.

Savannah Peachwood and Connor Crais deliver an excellent performance, bringing these characters and this story to life. I will definitely relisten to this story. I highly recommend it! I am looking forward to listening to The Last Goodbye, the next in the series.

This was such an amazing start to a brand-new small-town series. My Forever Girl is the first book in the Blue Sky Bay series. I was so happy to see Cutler and Gracie all grown up and get their happily ever after! Their friends to lovers story was so special. I loved the progression of their feelings as they soon realise they are absolutely perfect for each other! These two best friend were always meant to be so much more!

The audiobook is narrated by Connor Crais and Savannah Peachwood. They perform this book in duet-style narration and do such an incredible job. They embodied Cutler and Gracie so perfectly! The emotion and life they both brought to these characters and the story was phenomenal. I loved listening to every single moment!

I have been waiting for this book! Blue Skies is Laura Pavlov's new series and her first book features Cutler, better known as Beefcake for those that experienced her Magnolia Falls and Rosewood River series. His sweet personality and sage advice as a child won my heart in every book he was in! And in every book, his forever girl was Gracie. Best friends throughout their life had Gracie move in with him when her engagement was broken and now she has asked him to help her get better at relationships. But what will that entail, and will that closeness and emotion bring on feelings that have been smoldering for years? Passion and fun all come out as these two find out just how they really feel. I loved getting to know the older versions of these two as I loved them as kids and am loving this start to the series.

The voices of Connor Crais and Savannah Peachwood must have been in the mind of Pavlov as she wrote this as they could not have been better cast for this one. Crais is Cutler, using that smooth baritone to bring out the feels. Peachwood is Gracie, working through her insecurities and finding her true self and passion. Amazing listen!

Well all I can say is that I loved, loved, loved this friends to lovers story. It’s sweet heartfelt love of best friends who finally cross the line to lovers but not before parents try to set him up with another woman he doesn’t know. You feel so bad for Cutler The scene in the bathroom is hilarious especially when he describes her false eyelash that’s moved as a tarantula on her face 😂😂😂 .
When Gracie moves to New York for her dream job, their parting at the airport 😰
Love the family of Cutler/Bear how they all swoop in to help him.
The reunion on the bench in front of her apartment is ♥️
I love how everyone but them knew they’d end up together ♥️

This was such a fun listen! I have been a huge fan of Cutler “Beefcake” throughout the last few series by this author, and was really looking forward to his book! Although, I did struggle a little with the age/time jump at first. Cutler and Gracie were just perfect and a wonderful friends to lovers romance. A great start to this new series and I’m already looking forward to learning more about this cast of characters. I adored Cutler’s relationship with his uncles. That was so beautifully written in as well as the ending and both willing to do whatever it takes to be together.

Narrators Savannah Peachwood and Connor Crais were a great pairing for this book.
