Summary

Since the appearance of the alien creatures, the world has drastically changed. Electricity still has not been restored, and people are panicking. The creatures that hadn’t fled the area to chase the moon are hiding in the shadows while guarding their offspring. Infected people are growing ill and morphing into something sinister. Losing their humanity, their only instinct is the primal need to feed their insatiable hunger. Follow our survivors as they navigate the second day of this strange and dangerous new world.

Morphing.

What’s really going on.

The author M. A. Hollstein continues with her amazing imagination and beautiful penmanship.
This genre is a new one for me, a mix of science fiction and horror done in perfection and this is only the beginning, the second book of the series.
The author got the characters perfectly even when you think that only a fool would leave the safety of the group to get a per of shoes without saying nothing to nobody which makes you want to scream but if you really think about it, you could understand how irrational people could and would become exactly like that in uncertain times.

How do totally normal people lose all rationality when fear or the unknown visit their reality.

Once again Julie Branc beautifully narrates each of the characters in this creation.

Excellent, feels so real,

Got my full,

Thrilling second day

As a free review copy I'm. Holding a non biased review this takes everything that was great about the fist one and turns it up ten fold the character development is built upon much better than the first but that's obviously because it was meant to be done in day mutation I must say Travis is fantastic has me laughing so hard at points and has stolen the show for me as a favourite character in the trilogy and I can't leave a review without mentioning format the level of gore and horror in this one it really will have you are wincing if you're squeamish to that stuff and secondly Julie branch has done another great job with this one it does feel like she is very invested in reading the story but sometimes she can fall flat on a few encounters with random people but that could just be me still absolutely knocked it out of the park bring on day 3
