But as Harlowe and Fitch dig deeper into the murder, the danger only worsens.

Lady Vivienne Harlowe has been living with her Aunt and Uncle at Mablethorpe Castle for seven years. She is not your typical Lady she likes using her fathers soard and has a sixth scene when it come to danger. When one an important guest of her uncle is murdered she is determined to find the murderer. Her childhood friend Zachariah Fitch is now sheriff and he is also determined to find the murderer, but wants Lady Vivienne to stay safe and not get involved.
I enjoyed this mystery and to plot is excellent I can't wait for the next book.

An intrigue-filled story with excellent worldbuilding, delightful characters, and enough puzzlement to keep you on your toes. I loved Vivienne and Zach and their relationship. Kevin E Green’s narration is top-notch and greatly entertaining.
