Murder

Great story about a coffeehouse owner being found in the parking lot by the neighbor diner owner. It’s always worse to see it first hand but thankfully his fiancée is an amateur sleuth with her cop brother. Always good to know people to help you find the real murderer.

An entertaining story from a very good author

Murder Is a Deadly Brew: Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery, Book 11, My forty-ninth short read/listen from author Meredith Potts, Well-written & enjoyable. another cute, clean cozy mystery, the latest in this series. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Hope Hadley Cozy Mysteries

I like this series because her fiance and brother trust her and her judgment, when they could easily blow her off and get all overprotective or tell her to stay out of the investigations. She's a smart woman with good judgment and a good role model for women wanting to be taken seriously.

Small Towns

Really enjoyed this cute little cozy story. The narration was fantastic but the man's part to me it needs to be changed,it doesn't seem natural like the woman's part!It really is a great story!

First book but both the last

This is the first book I have listened to from Meredith Potts and it won’t be the last. It was cute but still held my attention. I was still kind of surprised who done it, but I felt that it wrapped up way too easily.

Good Story & Narration

Amatuer sleuth Hope gets a call a friend of her boyfriend has been murdered behind the shops. Her brother is a cop and they investigate, unusual for civilian to ride along. She does have a knack for helping to solve. Giving us a cute story and good narration . Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Seriously Lacking

I was hoping Murder is a Deadly Brew would be an improvement after Pretzels, Problems, and Peril. I was disappointed. As someone that loves mysteries, this one just doesn't make the cut. Once again the dialogue and narrator were boring at best. I will try one more Meredith Potts book before I make a final decision about her writing.
