About this listen

Mercy Thompson is a shapeshifter, and while she was raised by werewolves, she can never be one of them, especially after the pack ran her off for having a forbidden love affair. So she’s turned her talent for fixing cars into a business and now runs a one-woman mechanic shop in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State.

But Mercy’s two worlds are colliding. A half-starved teenage boy arrives at her shop looking for work, only to reveal that he’s a newly changed werewolf—on the run and desperately trying to control his animal instincts. Mercy asks her neighbor Adam Hauptman, the Alpha of the local werewolf pack, for assistance.

But Mercy’s act of kindness has unexpected consequences that leave her no choice but to seek help from those she once considered family—the werewolves who abandoned her...

I've read the books and I love them, only thing that annoyed me was Ben's accent. I found that it brought me out of the story as it felt far too fake.

Love the books

Loved the characters, the humour and sass. A great start to the Mercy Thompson characterisation and supporting cast.

Brilliant rendition of a great book.

I loved this! it's not a replacement to the books, but it makes an excellent and fun addition. Great to recap the materials, and as I started listening to it in the car it brought others into the Mercyverse, people who I could never imagine would be into werewolf drama could not wait until we could listen to the next part. Some of the minor character apperance voices (like Bran) don't feel like a match, but they make only minor apperances. Mercy, adam, Samuel, and Warren feel about as close to as you might imagine them. looking forward to book 2!!

Brilliant supplement to the books

Loved the original books and audiobook, but hearing the dramatised version just gives the story more depths and allows my imagination to really live in this world… fabulous!

Graphic audio in all its splendour!

This incredible production truly brought the story to life in a way I never imagined. The voice acting was superb, capturing the nuances of each character perfectly. The sound effects and music added another layer of immersion, making the world feel real and vibrant. I was completely captivated from beginning to end, often forgetting I was listening to an audiobook and not watching a movie. This is a must-listen for any fan of the book.
