Damon has become a monster...sort of.

A very enjoyable book, I need a Chester in my life...highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the MC and mimic. The action was good and the side character were interesting. There was decent progression in power levels of the MC and some interesting skills.
The best bit was Jeff Hays as the mimic.
Will be picking up the second book.

As an avid fan of SBT (DCC, ELLC and more) I had rather high expectation for the new mimic series and, well, as usual SBT delivered outstanding performance and quality. The plot is interesting with some cool twists, with interesting characters and a different take on mimic story. There was just one thing that annoyed me quite a bit, hence removing 1 star: some loot desciptions were incredible long and boring, really throwing a wrench into the flow making me want to skip ahead. Hence it felt slow here and there... Nevertheless, I would recommend this book to anyone who's into LitRPG, especially with monster-like MC.

This was agreat audiobook. It was a solid enjoyable story which was not predictable but not unbelievable. The characters were good and the voice acting made the main character likeable and relatable. Can't wait to listen to the second one.

This was an interesting take on the whole mimic idea and i really enjoyed the simpler almost side quest style of this book. It was like following an old school rpg where you complete individual quests until you progress enough for the story to reach its conclusion.

Overall a great easy to follow story that had some funny parts and a few dark parts making for a solid listen.

Highly reccomended
