Really enjoyed the book but

Mason became to powerful to quickly with no real learning curve imo. No one picks up blacksmithing that quick! 😁

Another good book by Master vall

Another great book by vall, really cool story and world. only problem with the book I can see is the main character can be a bit arrogant. but other than that it's worth your time

Captivating from start to finish

Do you want to hear a story about magic, love, fighting, crafting and puts it all into a story so compelling you don't want to stop? Me to!
That is exactly what I got. Christopher and Jessica's mingled so well. Can't wait to hear more

decent

the MC is a bit of a marry sue and apologizes a bit to much but book does have a decent story and having the two narrators made for a enjoyable listen with the way they went about it.

Okay...

The MC ruined this one. He’s a know it all who asks for help than ignores the lesson. Just cause you can do what the teacher says without issue doesn’t mean you ignore what they ask of you just cause you think you know best... even though you went through so much trouble just to get them to teach you in the first place.

Very Interesting

Eric Vall’s first installment of Metal Mage was very interesting. I found it to be a new take on fantasy. I enjoyed the idea of replicating modern tech is a mid evil society. I am excited to see how the story line progresses and the world building expands in book 2!

I quite enjoying this book

I quite enjoyed this book, and no it wasn't a struggle To Finish it. one of my most favorite part is when Mason Finish his motorcycle. The narrator was very good, and it Kept me curious to see what happened Next.

not again Eric Vall

once again you took what might be a somewhat interesting idea and goofed it all up look I get power fantasy and wish-fulfillment fantasy but when you make your main character a literal goddesses boy toy who is also the special you jumped the shark way too fast way too soon and make all of the Power and the hot girls and the fantasy elements feel completely unearned he's not pulling ahead because he's clever or a good person he's just some douchebag that gets inconceivably lucky at every turn if you can look past that then you'll like this because the girls are hot the adventure and the action are relatively good and all that mess but personally it's not good

Light/anime style barely any conflict

I didn't like the goofy MC and it moved to slowly for me. A lot of time spent on unrealistic crafting and tropey magic academy. Interesting plot annoying OP MC

Wow

Another author that doesn't realize that smirking is not a good go-to expression if you want to endear your characters to each other (within the story) and to the audience. A smirk every now and then shows depth. A smirk every chapter shows lack of imagination and annoys the reader. I counted at least eight smirks within the first few chapters before i gave it up for a bad job.

Great story

The only complaint about this book is the narration/audio. The audio has the ”thump” sound every time the narrator read any letter ”p” or ”b”, and that very annoying over time. Overall very good book, can’t wait for the next one.
