Absolutely loved this book.

This is exquisite. Exactly what I was searching for to extend my insight and comprehension of Zen. It's basically composed and as straightforward as Zen can be. Am now feeling the advantages. It's a book to keep by your bedside and dunk into. Energetically suggested.

This is a very easy and clear book

Some of the concepts in the book are hard to understand due to cultural differences and western ideals. There is also a lot of repetition. Loved it.

Ruined by the music and unlistenable

I had high hopes for this given the other reviews, however the narrator's voice is completely drowned out by, what should be, background music. I had to turn it up so high to try to hear what he was saying that I got a volume warning on my phone and by this stage the music was so loud as to be unlistenable and anything but conducive to meditation. I tried on 3 sets of headphones and via the device speaker all with the same outcome. Avoid.
