Summary

Do you want to be successful in your life? Do you desire to manage your emotions? Do you feel like you aren’t good enough?

Emotions are a huge part of who we are, and few people can understand and control them. Today, in a world full of distractions, people don't pay enough attention to them. After all, being in charge of emotions allows you to have better control of your life. This is a great achievement which is not easy to reach, but it is worth striving for.

You can't change the circumstances that happen to you, but you can control the way you choose to respond to it.This choice always belongs to you, but it only becomes effective when you know how to take control of your emotions so that they don't end up controlling you.

When you fail to manage your emotions, your health also suffers. Negative emotions, when experienced over the long term, will lead to chronic stress. The stress upsets the hormonal balance of the body, which in turn affects the immunity of the body, making you prone to diseases.

Chronic stress from failure to handle emotions can also decrease your lifespan. Poorly managed anger also triggers a host of health conditions such as heart disease, digestive disorders, and hypertension.

One of such skills that will be very difficult to live without, in the confusing and ever-changing world of the 21st century, is emotional intelligence.

With the skills given in this book, you will be able to take on the world. If you utilize the skills taught in emotional intelligence, working on the five domains and practicing empathizing with others, you will be happier in life.

The next step from here is for you to begin utilizing what you learned. Take the time to practice your awareness of yourself and others. Spend the effort to get to know other people and use your experiences around you to influence how you think and feel.

In particular, you will find these chapters in the audiobook:

  • Understanding Emotions
  • Emotions and Your Mind
  • Improve and Enhance Empathy
  • The True Nature of Emotions
  • Overcoming Negative Emotions
  • Art of Being Positive
  • Creating Good Habits to Eliminate Bad Habits
  • Recognizing Signs of Anger
  • Unmanaged Anger
  • Mastering Emotions Through Experience
  • Exercises to Develop Emotional Intelligence
  • Master It, Control It, Be Happy About It

Take advantage of having a wide range of privileges available to you and learn how other people think, feel, and act. You can gain a whole newfound appreciation through doing so.

As you continue on your journey of learning to manage and master your emotions, I wish you good luck. You can do this, even if it seems daunting at first. You can gain control and break those chains your emotions had over you. You can do it with some perseverance, and if you believe in yourself, you will make it happen.

If you would like to know more, get the book now and start to manage your emotions!

An excellent way to assure this topic

This is a very interesting and substantial audible and I recommend it highly. It illustrates one thing that'd probably be too trivial in the context of child development, yet is very surprising when applied in the context of leadership.

Great this audio book.

A lot in this audio book might seem overly basic to people. However, if you feel like you struggle with the basics of social interactions, as many of us do, this audio book is a great guide.

Siri would be a better narrator.

As much as I wanted to like this book over it's content, I couldn't even finish listening to it. Her voice is so disconnected, it sounded like she didn't even want to narrate the book. Price Valium is less boring than this presentation. Retuned...

did a computer read this?

Very dry and non personal content. Sounds read by a machine. Evolutionary based explainations. I prefer Bible based teachings and ones drawn from real life people and experiences.
