Summary

Tyson Compass, as one of the famed Compass quads, is not a wizard used to living with regrets. Except for one: Grace Carter.

Grace is a healer witch he rejected many years ago. After completely disappearing from his life, she has returned and turned his world upside down. The attraction between them flares strongly, but she has not forgotten or forgiven his callous rebuff when they were teens.

Tyson does everything he can to prove he will never hurt her again, and just when he thinks there might be a chance for them, she has to leave again. She makes him promise not to follow her - a promise he honors for as long as he can. But after almost two months with no word, he’s done waiting. He’s going to find his girl.

With a little help from his brothers, he tracks her down, only to find Grace betrayed by her family...tortured...hurt. His rage knows no bounds. He will do everything he can to bring her family to justice, to find out why they turned on her.

By unlocking these secrets, though, he will discover that Grace is so much more than just a healer witch. She holds a secret that could save the world of Faerie. Or destroy it.

Magical Compass is a spin-off set within the Supernatural Prison world. It is full-length at 90,000 words, and is a stand-alone with HEA. You do not need to hear the Supernatural Prison trilogy first, but it will help your understanding of this world if you do.

I can’t wait for the next book

I love the Compass quads pack. This story is full of adventure, in an incredible story. Who’d thought that Grace was such a bad ass. The narrator’s did a great job acting out the parts, the sex scene could have used a little more motivation... just sayin... also the editing team of this recording need to pay more attention to detail with the bloopers. Unless, that was left there on purpose. I had a good laugh though. I love 💕 Jaymin Eve’s stories, can’t wait for the next one.

The narration needs editing

So I normally love Jaymin Eve books. But this one was a little too same same for me. Plus the narrator kept calling Jacob, Jason. In chapter 9 the editing crew totally missed where she makes a mistake says she doesn’t like it pauses and starts over. Less than fabulous narration can ruin a book. Tyson compass was better than Grace but in no way the same league as the narration that was in Dragon marked. Which is unfortunate. I hope for Jacob and Louis’s story they chose a different narration team. Narration real makes or breaks a book for me personally and for this book it unfortunately broke it.

Wonderful storytelling, Even better story.

my only issue with the reading of this book is that there were a few errors. At one point Jacob was referred to as 'Jason', by Will M Watt. Another time, Rachel Rauch made an error and said "let's start that over" before repeating herself. I dont believe that was meant to be in the story. otherwise it was amazing. The readers really immersed me in the adventure and brought some of my favorite characters to life.

stereotype much?

I was enjoying the different takes on supernaturals, up until you started using a derogatory stereotype for homeschoolers. Obviously you haven't researched homeschoolers. I lead a group of over 400 homeschool families and they are nothing like you seem to think. They are outgoing, adventurous, confident, hard working, and fierce.

Why??

Too much cussing, not enough content for imagination just tons of feelings and cussing! Could have gone so many places with this story. Its disappointing!

Female Narrator Not Great

Will Watt was a great narrator. I almost stopped listening to the story because I didn’t care for Rachel Rauch.

refreshing in your face twist on a fantasy novel

jaden eve never fails to please. this book is very in your face, telling a supernatural book from the point of view of the main characters, instead of being narrated by an outside party.

great story, but....

The story was amazing, but I could do with another narrarator for Grace. The whole whispering sound was difficult. At times I just wanted to give up, but I finished.

Great book

There is a part where the female Narrator stops
and say " umm I didn't like that's let's do it again" and Re reads the same sentence.
