Summary

Jacob Compass is stuck in the human world, navigating a peaceful treaty so that supernaturals are not exposed. Justice Winter reluctantly finds herself helping him with this task, all the while dreaming about punching him in his perfect, smug face. Suffice it to say, their coexistence is a challenge in many ways.

Turns out, though, that during this battle against an enemy that they can't just kill and get rid of - annoying as it may be - they learn that they have more in common than just their fey race. More than the fact that both of them find joy in the fire element.

There's something deeper that exists in their souls, and, maybe, it might just take the end of the world for them to figure out what it is.

This is the final in the Supernatural Prison series. Full-length urban fantasy paranormal romance.

Worth waiting for

I love this series and the last book did not let me down. I felt the highs and lows with the characters. I went in their journey with them. I cried and laughed with them. I’m sad that this is the last book and hope that Jaymin Eve writes more about the next generation and their abilities. Going to start reading again from the beginning now. Thank you Jaymin!

Shame

Her first two books were amazing but then she decided to use more crude words. Call me weird but if she didn't use as many curse words and such I think it would have been better. Also the readers had no passion not like the others.

series conclusion

A fitting conclusion to the series when the last Compass brother is mated to the Ruby Princess of the Jeweled Lands. Together, they deal with the situation with the humans created when Louis went dark trying to protect the twins and their babies from Kristoff.
I enjoy Eve’s creativity and I’ve read and purchased many of her books. I’m impressed with how quickly she is able to release new books but would wish her additional editing support.“She almost paid the ultimate sacrifice” is a real mash of mixed metaphors. It’s ‘paid the ultimate price’ -or- ‘made the ultimate sacrifice’. You don’t pay a sacrifice. Sigh.
Sparks and Zeller do a pretty decent job of narration. The way this book was written practically demanded a dual narration but we got the bonus of good voices.
