About this listen

Have you ever wished magic was real? Do you ever feel powerless, as though the world has it in for you, or that nothing ever goes your way? Have you wished there were a magic word you could utter that would change everything?

If so, I have good news for you.

Magic is real. And you can use mere words to affect the people, events, objects and relationships of your life in exciting and beautiful ways.

This audiobook will teach you the technique of using magic words. It’s the most spectacularly effective method for creating change in just about any area you can think of.

Magic words are devastatingly simple to master. It takes no preparation, costs nothing, anyone can do it, and you can start using it immediately. If you are consistent with the practice, you may well see a change within just a few days.

Magic words is the technique consistently reported by my coaching clients as the most effective, and more people report success with this practice than any other. I personally use it every single day of my life.

My promise is this: Use magic words consistently and as described, and you’ll see massive changes too.

I love this author, and also the narrator. This book however felt very basic and also quite egoic. Such a shame as this author speaking on this subject should be brilliant but it almost felt patronising at times. I think the author needs to remember that her listeners grow with her so the content should evolve and become more complex. The beauty of her books is usually in the simplicity but it became irritating this time. All of her other books I would highly recommend.

Too basic... doesn’t live up to the others.

I find other ways of improving my own thinking more effective personally however I am grateful for the opportunity to read about this method.

interesting idea but doesn't work for me

Liked the book but the narrator is awful. Makes it sound trite. Too jolly hockey sticks. Get someone warmer and more relatable.

Awful narrator

Self-improvement doesn't need to be as complicated as most material in psychology might make it sound and this book is a great example of that. While straight forward, it can be challenging at times and this is addressed in the book itself, which I find to be important in preventing some common pitfalls.

This is a great listen/read for anyone wanting to get into self-improvement or anyone wanting a break from theory and actually get their hands dirty in order to start making some actual changes in their life. Extremely easy to understand and digest. Held together with real-life examples. Everything is introduced in a straightforward language. I found that the techniques described are somewhat inline with cognitive behavioural therapy, including the basics of cognitive biases but without any of this confusing scientific language.

Anyone can bring some magic back into their life by following methods described in this book, which I believe will lead to a better life overall.

Easy to understand intro to self-improvement
