It was super fluffy, slow holiday romance, where even angstiest parts felt like covered with a soft snowy blanket.

A Christmas tree farm romance where childhood friends need to fake date and discover their feelings and if they are brave enough to finally act on them.
I loved the epilogue part where Luke told his POV and I always like hearing the dual POV, it was sad there wasn't more of his point of view chapters.
There were mostly some sweet and soft moments and angstiest part came like 30m before the end.
I have to be honest the angst was good but I was not fan of the reasoning even though I get how certain insecurities can cause issues. It was baffling how they both have been in love with each other but it has taken 9 years to confess....
I don't know if it's my personal problem but childhood to lovers trope has to be carefully curated and executed for it to work for me. The whole book was a little too slow for me and I got even a little bored at some point. Even the saddest parts were very soft and gentle.
My favourite character was hands down Beckett!
He seems such a kindhearted grump who adopts kittens and wears them in his coat pocket, is with golden hands and interesting personality. Can't wait to read that book!
