Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury comes a new book featuring everyone's favorite family - the Baxters.

From the day they met, John and Elizabeth were destined to fall in love. Their whirlwind romance started when they were young college students and lasted nearly 30 years - until Elizabeth died of cancer.

So when John Baxter is asked to relive his long-ago love story with Elizabeth for his grandson Cole's heritage project, he's not sure he can do it. The sadness might simply be too great. But he agrees and allows his heart and soul to go places they haven't gone in decades. Back to the breathless first moments, but also to the secret heartbreak that brought John and Elizabeth together.

At the same time, Baxter family friend Cody Coleman is working through the breakup of his complicated relationship with Andi Ellison. He is determined to move on when a chance sighting changes his plans - and heart. Can Cody convince Andi to give their love another try, or is it time for them to say good-bye for good?

As school comes to an end, Cole presents his report on the love story between his grandparents John and Elizabeth Baxter. It is a tale that touches the hearts of the entire family and one that causes Cole to better understand his own beginning.

Whether you're meeting the Baxter family for the first time or finding them all over again, Love Story will stir your heart and remind you of the generational impact of love and the eternal bond of family.

A story full of grace

A wonderful reminder that even when we mess up, God is there with us, loving us and helping us through, and providing us with hope and so many blessings.

Brilliant Book

Engaging and heartwarming, as we've come to expect from Karen Kingsbury. A continuation of the wonderful stories of the Baxter family and the Flannigans and Cody Coleman. Great love stories and family values. I was gripped throughout.

Great Book!!!

I loved the book. I have read some other books on the Baxter family. I am definitely going to finish the rest of them now. I really thought this one the best so far, however I think I always say that after each story.

The reader’s voice is horrible

I love my audio books but I honestly couldn’t finish this book cause I couldn’t stand listening to this automaton’s voice. I really don’t think this was a human reading the book. :/ This was truly the worst audible book I’ve ever heard. I’ll try reading it :/

Beautiful

This story is beautiful. It took me back to my past relationships and family. Sad that we don’t always allow God to work through us to be better people. Elizabeth’s parent are more my experience with their ideas of Christianity. Kind of upside down but they loved there daughter and wanted the best for her. As a mother of a daughter I sympathize with there plight. Wilson is the character I would most like to emulate. God bless you Karen.

Terrible narration by male narrator

The story line was good, but the narration was robotic, which made trying to listen awful. I restarted the Story atleast 6 times. Karen Kingsbury is a wonderful author, so I would recommend buying the book instead of listening to this audible version.

Refreshing

It was refreshing to hear all the love stories in this book. With so much negativity in the world, we need more positive role models.
