Summary

The VIs' revolt succeeded.

The digital beings took over the game world and ejected millions of players while keeping a few thousand trapped inside as their prisoners.

In the real world, Oren Berman is recovering from the mental trauma of being trapped, tortured, and abruptly ejected. But the company has come to him, hat in hand, asking him to reenter the game world. With the entire NPC population arrayed against the trapped players, Oren and his clan of monsters might be their only hope.

Just an honest review

So... Been really curious as what to expect after book 3, and u know what, I wasn't disappointed!
The book kept me entertained and curious as what will happen next not to mention the funny companion that I was hoping to still be there.
Never wrote a review before but just hoping that author will read this wanted to ask him to keep up the great work he's been doing and will be looking forward for upcoming books!
Also really love the narrator and all the sound effects included in it. Great job!

Best book out of the series

This is a marked improvement compared to the previous book (3), it answers some questions raised regarding the previous ending. It progressed into a well rounded and interesting story.

This book is by far the most funny and is filled with puns and jokes to get you going. Also the character progression after the "big ordeal" shows great growth mentally.

Overall this is a great addition and I look forward to more books.

Finally the audio production, sound effects and narrators did a fabulous job!

They ruined a perfectly good lit RPG

The first three books get a 10 out of 10 for me. I was loving the story, the world, and the characters. All the progress of becoming the most powerful clan in the game was for nothing. The competition aspect of becoming the most powerful player in the game is gone. Its almost like the writer started a new story, Im not even interested in finishing the series now!!!!

Just another fight...

The book only really focused on a weird emotional relation that has to be told 200 times as well as fight scenes.

Great book!

Great book as always kept me wanting more the whole time. I love how the author manages to get you hooked on every character they bring in.

SPOILER

One complaint would prob have to be this book really didn't go anywhere pretty much spent the book getting back into the game and building back up the village. I do feel the book is building up for something great but for now more waiting..

R green overlords do it again

The payoff is a little on the slow side but when he gets there it gets there this is a good arching book getting us ready for the next and last in the series of this arch And it does an amazing job of showing us the time dilation and how it affects the players and a monster's how it affects the whole civilization when the leaders are missing and there there is a A negative situation inside the video game both for the gain and the MP c's

Weakest in the series this far.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with the book. But that is mostly due to it being the 4th in the series. compared to previous titles there is a lot of lazy writing. The main character will state something then a side character will echo those exact words. Adjectives are often reused making the entire book feel very repetitive.

The series stays great!

By happenstance, I think Life Reset was one of - if not *the* - first GameLit novels I read. The first three had a finality to their conclusion, and I was worried book four would really disappoint in that "did the story really need to continue" way some series do. I'm so glad my worries were proved wrong! I can hardly wait for the next book!

STORY RESET!!!

Upfront, this is my favorite entry into the series! I do admit, there were a few portions of the story that I didn't care for at first, but the author did a good job turning my opinion around. With the conclusion of the last book leaving off the way it did, the MC is forced to reset; all new struggles, all new motivations, and prepare yourself for all-out war!

one of the Best AudioboT

All the additional special effects made this story come alive. Bought both the book and audible. The various voices were very well done. I look forward to more from this author and the voice actors. I highly recommend this audible and book to any fan of fantasy and litrpg.
