Very very slow narrator
I first heard of James Doty when I came across a talk between him and the late Thich Nhat Hahn. I found James to be a very kind, sincere person. So when I heard he had written a book, I immediately ordered it here on Audible. Unfortunately the narrating goes so slow, that for the first time ever, I decided to return the audiobook. Even with increasing the speech, it was still too slow, and when I increased it even more, it was unpleasant and kind of robotic to listen to,
But this doesn't mean the book gets a bad review, but of course I have to order the paperback first, before I can give my opinion.

This book touch’s your soul
Great follow up to the original book ‘Into the magic shop’...Teachs you how to have compassion for yourself & others.If we all lived as best we can from what this book teachs what a wonderful world this would be..

A great honest story.
A really good book with a great honest story. Lots of good information, which if given due diligence and honest application can make a difference.
Whilst there is not much particularly new, its great to hear the principles from someone who actually walks their talk.
My only criticism would be, the narration. At times it was painfully slow and it sounded as if he had run a marathon before beginning.
That being said, don't let it put you off the content, which is excellent.

an absolutely amazing book
this book is packed full of wisdom and insights that are helping me to change my negative thinking patterns, to identify what is important in life, the power I have for change and transformation, and reminds me of the power of human connection.
