About this listen

The soul of Uther Pendragon is chained in hell. The sword of power is lost in swirling chaos. The realm is under threat from barbarian hordes - led by an undead god from the vaults of prehistory. And a new Dark Age is dawning over Roman Britain.

Then comes a man called Revelation, seeking a child born of a demon.... Seeking the legendary Lord of the Lance.... Seeking the sword to save the realm.

fantasy at it's best

You know what you are getting with David. it's just classic fantasy..you have a hero, a rogue , a villain, a compelling story ,lots of swords sandals and magic ..and you are drawn in whether you like it or not. he is one of if not the best fantasy writer out there .Take it from me I've read all of his books but I'm now at novel two of going through the whole library on audible ..and it's worth it..the narrator is awesome also

Life, Harmony and Spirit

This is sad story from start to finish like so many of David Gemmell's books. It is a story of a boy, whose protective father was murdered; of a boy who would be blood king; of a love which was doomed from the start and a friendship which could never be. David Gemmell at his best, again.

Awesome book

I love the sipstrassi books the ghost king and this one were great ! The only bug bear I had was the dodgy French accent in places kept making me chuckle and distracted me. Apart from that awesome narration too. Thank you

Total Submersion Fantasy

I simply can't get enough Gemmell. No need to say more other than, Gemmell wouldn't be the same without Christian's excellent reading.
