Story
Lady Jo Danvers has declared war on her humdrum life. Armed with a list of ways to be wicked, she will step out of her role as never-been-kissed wallflower and experience passion. With the right gentleman, of course. She just has to find him. Mr. Elijah Decker, the handsome businessman she cannot stop thinking about, is definitely no gentleman. And he is decidedly all wrong. Unfortunately for Jo, she has unwittingly given him her list. When Decker discovers Jo’s list mistakenly tucked between the pages of a pamphlet for the Lady’s Suffrage Society, he is intrigued.

Story
When Victoria fell in love with the Earl of Pembroke, she never imagined he'd heartlessly wed, bed, and abandon her in the countryside. After he suddenly returns, determined to prove to her he's a changed man, she's not about to forgive him, trust him, or succumb to his scorching kisses. Will has devoted his life to enraging his loathsome father by creating one scandal after the next. Duty forces him back to the wife he resents, but he isn't prepared for the raw desire she makes him feel. Seducing her will hardly be a tedious task. Guarding his heart, however, is another matter.

Summary
Lady Calliope Manning is determined to punish the man she holds responsible for her beloved brother’s death.
She will do anything in her power to destroy him. When rumors swirl that the Earl of Sinclair requires a wealthy bride to rescue himself from dire financial straits, she seizes the opportunity to ruin him at last.
Justin “Sin” Vaughn, the Earl of Sinclair, needs to marry an heiress, and he needs to marry one now. But the sudden, anonymous publication of salacious memoirs rumored to be his obliterates his chances. With polite society convinced he is a murderer, he has only one choice: Find the person behind his supposed memoirs and get his revenge.
Callie never expected Lord Sinclair to discover she wrote Confessions of a Sinful Earl...nor to abduct her and demand restitution in the form of her own hand in marriage. She definitely did not expect to find him so difficult to resist.
Sin is about to teach the beautiful, perfidious Lady Callie a lesson in ruthlessness one scorching-hot kiss at a time.

What did I just listen to
The story felt very fan fictiony? The words felt very awkward if you know what I mean?
The male narrator was pretty good and should have read the whole story because the female narrator took me out of it. Her impersonation of the male protagonist made me laugh because he sounded like an old man.

I liked this book. the story was predictable and surprising with the language which I didn't mind as it was in the sex scenes BUT.... what spoiled it for me was the female narrator. she couldn't imitate a different person if she tried, they sounded perverted or sinister. On the other hand the male narrator was great. Infact he has a very seductive voice. would have been better if he had narrated it all. I would like to continue to the next book but if it is read by Olivia Thompson then I don't think I can. Sorry Scarlett, I love your books but just can't stand Olivia Thompson

A delightful tale of abduction and redemption
Lady Calliope Manning is determined to punish the man she holds responsible for her beloved brother’s death.
Justin "Sin" , Earl of Sinclair, having been ruined due to Callie's publication, decides to abduct, teach her a lesson and get his revenge.
This is a delightful romp with two great characters, who I really warmed to, so much so that "Sin" is my latest #BBF.
I love how they have to work through their mistrust of each other, find out the truth and eventually realise how much they love each other. it made me feel all warm inside.
The only downside was the narration. Both narrators were good but I would have preferred John Lane to be the only one, as I found it distracting, particularly when Olivia read the male parts.
Well done Scarlett! You’ve done it again!

Good, but narration by Thompson is a huge turn off and fail!
I am a huge fan of Scott’s books and looked forward to this one. Overall, the book was good but did have two big detractors. First, while Olivia Thompson’s narration of the text and lead character were good, her narration of other characters was quite horrible! It was a huge distraction and turn off especially when she narrated the voice of Sin. Her voices were ridiculously raspy and gravelly, even for other female characters. I’m actually quite shocked that this audio version with her bad voices would have been signed off on because it’s pretty terrible. John Lane’s narration was flawless as always and was a saving grace for being able to visualize Sin.
The second detractor of the book was a lack of true development in the story of how Sin and Callie could go so easily from hate to love. While efforts are made to address this, it’s all too quick and easy and there is not enough true emotional struggle given how things started between them. Also, the lack of deeper backstory for Sin as to how he fell to the levels of depravity that he did in his past was disappointing. There was more depth and development needed in those key points of the story line to truly pull you in.

Lady ruthless narrator!
I struggled to finish this, although the story line was good. Olivia Thompson was a horrible narrator! She was not a complement to John Lane or the story whatsoever! The growling and hissing during her parts were most uncomfortable, making each character she portrayed sound sinister and sleazy. If not for her I would've given the overall score many more stars!

EXCELLENT NARRATORS!!
Oh this is one hot sexy romance story. This is close to erotica!! But very well written and a great storyline.
Lady Callope Manning know as Callie to family and friends. Has published a series disparaging articles about Justin "Sin" Vaughn Earl of Sinclair. Callie has accused him of murdering his wife and her brother the Duke.
Justin Earl of Sinclair has been financially ruined and ostracized by Ton because of Callies lies. So he kidnaps her. This begins a very sensual tug of war between the two enemies. Justin make Callie marry him or he will expose her as the writers of the articles. Which will ruin her and her brother the Duke.
Callie and Justin slowly but surely fall in love. It takes time for them to trust and eventually fall in Love!! This is a beautifully written story.. The Sex is HOT HOT HOT!!
EXCELLENT AUDIBLE EDITION!!

The concept of 2 narrators was lacking
I really liked the idea of both a male and female narrator but almost as soon as I heard Ms. Thompson's voice I knew I wasn't going to like it.
I also would've rather each narrator stuck to their role instead of switching back and forth.
I'm not sure I will complete the series.
