Summary

Alpha Grayson McNally is one of Howling Hills' hottest bachelors - or at least, he would be if he weren't still grieving for the ex who left him behind five years ago. He's learned to hide his loneliness behind smiles and practical jokes, but when a rogue bee sting sends him to the hospital, Grayson wonders if he might not have a second chance at love after all.

All Harvey has ever wanted was to become a doctor - and it's something he's excelled at, his passion for saving other people rivaled only by the belief that he doesn't deserve a happy ending for himself. Leaving Grayson behind to get his education was a no-brainer, but even Harvey can't resist the call between them when the one man who never left his heart comes back into his life...as a patient.

Sparks fly as one chance meeting leads to another, but the discovery that Grayson is Harvey's fated mate leaves him with mixed emotions. Harvey loves Grayson... but he also loves his career.

Will an unexpected pregnancy be the key to tearing down the walls surrounding this omega's heart?

Knot the Ex is a wolf shifter mpreg romance audio book with a guaranteed happily-ever-after! It is the second audiobook in the new Howling Hills Heat series, where finding your fated mate isn't just a dream - it's destiny. Great Book

I enjoyed the story. The first 30 minutes I was giggling myself sick. The rest of the story was great as well. Unfortunately I have sensitive ears and the narrators voice was harsh to me. And it is only because of my ears I say that. I am sure others enjoyed it immensely. Overall great book.

College Sweethearts

Falling in love in college is easy to do. Making long term plans when career paths diverge... not so much.

Both MC's were heartbroken when one stayed in Howling Hills, but the other transplanted to the east coast to study medicine in one of the country's premier universities. They didn't keep in contact.

As part of his residency, our doctor was assigned to the Howling Hills hospital, where he ran into his ex in the ER.

Do you ignore the past, use it as a shield, remake a relationship? All of the above, all of the feels.

Narrator Parker Momas was a solid narration listen on day one. The next day, he sounded like he was speaking in a tin can! Not possible. Someone *ahem* was messing with the audio settings, and really sent them sideways. Resetting the audio brought Parker's smooth tones back, and the book finished with a Bonus Chapter that was a lot of fun.

Knot the Ex

Grayson is with the pack getting ready to grill. But he didn't check it and is stung by a bee. A frantic drive to the hospital where he comes face to face with the love of his life who left him years before to go to medical school. Harvey is back as a Dr and is surprised to come face to face with his ex as his first patient. It's a time for remembering. The two are pulled together through little inconveniences which makes Grayson think it's fate. then when Harvey goes into heat Grayson helps him out only for them to realize that they're farted mates. But there's a secret Harvey is keeping that may impact his relationship with Grayson.
Parker Momus is a great narrator who breathes life into the characters and his voice draws you intro the story.
Fantastic audio and story!

Grayson and Harvey

This is the second book in the Howling Hills Heat series and a second chance romance. I found it very enjoyable. Grayson and Harvey are a hot mess. Harvey's spent the last several years pining for his lost love only to find him again in a very uncomfortable situation. Harvey chose his career over Grayson and just when things are going great he really screws up. While I liked that Harvey stood up to Grayson for being highhanded, he was doing it for his own pride. Grayson's apology for overreacting earned a thumbs up from me. Loved the sweet ending.

The narrator was clear and kept a decent pace. Not a lot of difference in the voice of each of the characters but it didn't detract too much from the story.

Perfect

Just when both men admit their feels and find out that they're fated mates Harvey has a secret that Gray finds out before Harvey shares it!!! Geay is so hardheaded I could have smacked him. Gray acted a bit childish imo. Thankfully Gray put his big boy panties on and came around. Great endings! The narrator was okay.

Grayson & Harvey

This could be Grayson and Harvey's second chance, if Grayson's anger and hurt over Harvey leaving him four years ago doesn't stop him. I enjoyed reading about their relationship and not extra drama thrown in.

Fun listen... the voice actor does an awesome job characters are easily distinguishable. I am really enjoying this series the characters are flawed but very likable. The mpeg is really well done. I am looking forward to the next book.

Honestly

I liked the story but the narration... the narrator has an odd accent (intonation?) and wooden way of speaking. It took me a long time to get over it and get into the story.

Sometimes you need a swift kick in the rear end!

This was another well written book in the "Howling Hills Series". Mr. Kingsley's writing was spot on, the character development and the story lines just flowed effortlessly. Of course, their were certain elements in the book where I wanted to reach in and just slap the you know what out of Harvey for the way he was so oblivious at times to poor Grayson's feeling's. But in the end Grayson got his man! This was a very enjoyable audible book and the narration added a nice listening pleasure to the overall enjoyment of the book for this listener.
