I developed empathy with the characters

why o why did she go loud one min and whisper the next I found that incredible annoying. the story was ok but I will not be purchasing the other novels in this story due to the performance.

slow story, really did not like the performance

When the reader went into quiet or confidential mode I could barely make out the individual words even with the volume on full. I listen with a night mask with incorporated headphones. This spoilt the overall enjoyment for me.

I liked the thread of stories running through the book.
