About this listen

It’s a dark, rainy afternoon on Dublin’s jammed M50. The rain is hammering on the windscreen of Daniella Moyles’s car. She is 29, a highly successful radio presenter, model and influencer, but she can’t stop the panic building in her head and chest. The internal state that she has been trying to ignore is finally spilling over into something undeniably physical. She is petrified. She looks to her boyfriend and says, ‘I don’t know who or where I am.’

The next day, Daniella decided to quit her job and set out on a new path, backpacking solo around the world for two years.

Jump is a memoir about growing up, burning out, bad decisions, reckless adventures, love and loss. It’s about what happens when you let go of everything you think you need and are confronted by who you really are – and how on the other side of this confrontation lies true contentment.

Daniella’s story is open & honest to her life experiences of getting to grip with the feeling of anxiety. It’s inspirational and a must read, not just for those who suffer with anxiety. In understanding anxiety we can all help to overcome it! Thank you Daniella for taking us on your journey of healing. A journey that will spark others to navigate their own personal journey of healing too!

A beautiful recount of feeling the fear and finding the courage to face it anyway!

This was brilliant, it touches deep but although there’s sadness it is very inspirational. I got a great sense of achievement reading this, I can resonate in many ways but it is also inspiring to travel and see the world. I have read this during lockdown and although I know ache to travel I feel it will help me set those correct intentions and goals to get there!

Wow I read this is two sittings

I did enjoy listening to this book and hearing about the authors story of how she found herself. It may appeal most to people who enjoy travelling as it takes you to some beautiful locations around the world. The authors narration is very good.

**Dont like the the books tag line - "One Girls Search For Meaning" - It will immediately make the reader compare it to the iconic book Viktor Frankl's "Mans Search For Meaning" and that is very difficult to compete against. I understand the logotherapy link, but it deserves its own unique tagline.

An interesting listen

I enjoyed listening to this even though it felt a bit like a torture remembering the possibilities of adventure and travel before Covid. I've found her story very relatable and it helped me with reassurance about some if my own issues and dilemmas about my own mental health. She touches on very important issues with honesty and openness. Appreciated and recommended!
