Summary

Four best-selling thrillers from The New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Russell Blake. This bundle features Jet, Jet: Betrayal, Jet: Vengeance, and Jet: Reckoning

She had to die...

...it was the only way to live.

Her code name: Jet. A lethal operative for the Mossad. Many wanted her eliminated. Faking her own death was the only way to survive, but it didn't work out like she planned.

The past doesn't give up its secrets easily.

The tranquil island's beauty was shattered in an instant. The attack forced her hand, and now she must make a decision. Will she stay dead, or return to a world that wants to kill her?

A gritty, unflinching roller-coaster of high-stakes twists and shocking turns, Jet features a new breed of protagonist that breaks the mold.

If you're a fan of Bourne, Baldacci, and Brown, you'll delight in Jet's breakneck pace and no-prisoners approach to storytelling.

Wow, great from start to finish

Wasn't sure what to think with a female agent being the lead, would it be believable?

How wrong could I be, it is a totally absorbing series up there with the best.

If you have not read any of Russell Blakes books do yourself a favour, get into them now, you will not regret it, action from start to finish.

Maybe in my early 20s...

I prefer the author's Artemus Black Series and Drake Ramsey Series because each have likable quirky characters, interesting backgrounds, some great laugh out loud moments and the right narrators who bring them to life.

I found the first Jet novel high on violence, low on substance, bland, been there read that storyline and characters, and twists that I could see a mile off. The narrator, although not bad, added nothing to the story for me.

Since I did not enjoy the first book, and a brief preview of the second showed it to be on an all too terrible topic that I didn't want hours of it bloody in my ear, I gave up on this bundle.

Not bad

Book one is best. After that, the heroine gets annoyingly arrogant. Performance is excellent with one big exception. Narrator can’t pronounce words with “ou” sound (out, about, doubt, house, etc). Gets really distracting.

Bundle is a marathon

There is definitely a difference in how the characters behave from book to book. Jet becomes a bit obnoxious & more egotistical in bk2. She was annoying at times vs bk1 when it never crossed my mind.
The action keeps your interest throughout, though some is truly not realistic but that’s ok!
Jet’s relationships don’t seem to have a lot of detail or depth to them, that would help get the listener more “into” the books.
Overall it’s a fun but odd series.
The most significant oddity is the Canadian accent of the reader, attempting to do multiple accents. Pretty funny at times.
