The story felt fresh and exciting, with a perfect mix of romance, tension, and clever twists. The pacing kept me hooked the entire time, and the unique take on a heist made it stand out from typical romance novels. Truly a very interesting and enjoyable read.

Riley is a good narrator and her voice is easy to listen to. The storyline is fun with interesting themes on colonisation and the ownership of ethnic treasures. It was an enjoyable listen while doing the cooking and cleaning on a Sunday. I would probably give this 3.5 stars but it was closer to 4 than 3.

Nice story with good premise although Amara's antics and obsession with the bracelets nearly became annoying. Amber Riley did a great job as did Anthony Perez as Dante. Special shout shoutout to the Vivian actor! She was sooo funny and I laughed aloud a couple of times with her delivery. Nice listen. Would recommend.
