This Montgomery finds his match in this touching second-chance romance from NYT best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan.

I thought I was moving on from my divorce, but now my ex is marrying someone else. I shouldn’t be this broken up, but it’s hard to put on a brave face when my family is basically an inked-up Hallmark movie.

And I shouldn’t be brooding about what I don’t have if it’s going to cause me to fall off a roof. Right into the grumpy neighbor’s burly arms.

He’d make a nice distraction, except he wants nothing to do with the burning attraction between us. Until one accidental kiss leads to more.

I’m not ready to risk my heart again, but Killian’s tortured eyes don’t seem to give me a choice. This thing between us is real.

But Killian is still trying to recover from a tragedy. And there are people who will do anything to make sure he never finds happiness again.

To say I loved this was an understatement. I am so glad that I finished when I did as my family came to visit and I wouldn’t have been able to put it down while family was here. The family aspect of the Montgomery books is my favourite part of these books and it was so enjoyable in this book.

The drama and suspense that was involved in this one had me so very intrigued and loving every second of this book. The narration added this high level of drama, suspense and intrigue. I picked up on so many emotions with the narration which increased how much I loved this book.

There was a lot I enjoyed about this one - Both Archer and Killian were broody yet sweet, their meet-cute with Killian saving Archer, was fun and full of tension, and there were so many Montgomery's in the story! Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan were incredible narrators.

Killian's world has fallen apart after a tremendous loss and Archer is moving through the pain and grief of a divorce. I loved how Killian was willing to apologize and communicate vs staying upset and wondering what if. This was a story of finding love when you least expect it and how the love of your family can really come through for you and help you find yourself and move forward again. overall a cute and entertaining story.

Book 5 in Fort Collins by Carrie Ann Ryan
Archer is a Montgomery but with been divorced and no kids he struggles with not having this when all his other siblings and cousins do.
He finds a cabin for sale that he buys and want to renovate. His new next door neighbour is a very grumpy widow that has been struggling with the lost of his wife and child.
Absolutely love this new beginning story for both Archer and Killian. Love the big family feel and how they all suppose each other even cousins just like my family.
Absolutely love Carrie Ann Ryan, she’s amazing writer that can right any genre

I felt for Archer in all previous books, waiting for him to finally get rid of his no good husband Mark. Archer is such a kind soul and when he literally falls on Killian, he finds his match. But they have both suffered huge losses. I like how the author peels one layer at a time until they both know each other’s hurts and start to heal. But there’s still danger lurking. I waited for Archer’s happy ending and I totally got it and loved it! It was good to read about his father mending fences with the family. And as always every one of those Montgomerys coming through for Archer. The narrators were on point making the story come alive. I’d give 6 stars if I could. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

A happy ending for Archer!
