Story
According to mythology, mankind used to live in 'The Tranquiline Halls': heaven. But then the Voidbringers assaulted and captured heaven, casting out God and men. Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. Led by 10 angelic Heralds and 10 orders of knights known as Radiants, mankind finally won (or so the legends say).

Story
Defeated, crushed, and driven almost to extinction, the remnants of the human race is trapped on a planet that is constantly attacked by mysterious alien starfighters. Spensa, a teenage girl living among them, longs to be a pilot. When she discovers the wreckage of an ancient ship, she realizes this dream might be possible - assuming she can repair the ship, navigate flight school, and (perhaps most importantly) persuade the strange machine to help her. Because this ship, uniquely, appears to have a soul.

Story
Brandon Sanderson is one of the most significant fantasists to enter the field in a good many years. His ambitious, multi-volume epics and his stellar continuation of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series have earned both critical acclaim and a substantial popular following. In Legion, a distinctly contemporary novella filled with suspense, humor, and an endless flow of invention, Sanderson reveals a startling new facet of his singular narrative talent.

Story
Mistborn: Secret History is a companion story to the original Mistborn trilogy. As such, it contains huge spoilers for the books Mistborn (The Final Empire), The Well of Ascension and The Hero of Ages. It also contains very minor spoilers for the book The Bands of Mourning. Mistborn: Secret History builds upon the characterisation, events and worldbuilding of the original trilogy. Listening to it without that background will be a confusing process at best.

Summary
Long months have passed since Siris and the God King, enemies betrayed together, were left to rot in the prison at the Vault of Tears. Their true enemy - the Worker of Secrets, creator of the Infinity Blade itself - now reigns.
Upon finally obtaining freedom, Siris must unravel plots that seem to make no sense, lead a rebellion with no direction, and fight against the division within his very heart. The secrets unraveled will dig backward in time toward the origins of the deathless and the true nature of the world itself....
From number one best-selling author Brandon Sanderson and ChAIR entertainment, creators of the blockbuster Infinity Blade video game series, comes the second novel in the epic Infinity Blade saga.
This latest tale delves deeper into the fantastical world of Infinity Blade, a world of mystery and intrigue where magic and technology are indistinguishable and even life and death are not as they seem.

Disappointed- though it may mean more to gamers
Big caveat - I am not a gamer. If you are, and you play Infinity Blade, then perhaps take my review with a pinch of salt.
Jury is out with this one. It's still a good story, but there are just too many gaps for me. It's as if the skeleton of the plot has been built, but then just random clumps of muscle and detail attached, and the listener is meant to fill in the blanks. It lurched a little too much for my liking. Perhaps I'm just used to Sanderson's normal detail, and clever building of characters and plots - and although this had both good characters and a great plot, it was just too half-baked, without any of the good bits in between. I haven't got around to playing the games, and if I'm being honest, I'm very unlikely to ever do so, and that I think is the main problem here.
The following is taken from Brandon Sanderson's website:
"To get the whole story, play the games and read the novellas in this order:
Infinity Blade
Infinity Blade: Awakening
Infinity Blade II
Infinity Blade: Redemption
Infinity Blade III
However, the novellas will catch you up to speed if you haven’t played the games, so don’t worry about being lost."
I have only read the Novellas, and although I am not lost, I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as I normally do anything by Sanderson.... And it would appear that I am not even going to know how it ends as it looks as though I need to play the last game to work that bit out?
3 stars because it's still Brandon Sanderson and even a gappy novella is still good - but I've I've just come to expect more from a Sanderson novel.
Looking forward to reading a review by someone who has also played the games....Perhaps if it's really good, I will revisit in the context of the games too. Until then, I'm relegating these to the "don't revisit" pile.

meh
Both Infinity blade novellas seemed a bit flat to me. Nothing seemed to happen and I didn't care about any of the characters. I know it's hard to do much in such a tight format, but compared with something like shadows for silence in the forests if hell, this one falls pretty flat.

Narration was pleasant to hear. For a novel based on a game it had a great story. Was hoping for a final ending and not something that seems to lead to a (non existent) next book
