The year is 2399, and the earth has been damaged beyond repair.

Nyx is completely alone, scavenging the ruins of humanity to get by. With her brother suddenly missing, the only people she can trust are herself and her busted-up Bronco. Scavenging earns her enough water credits to stay alive but with no margin for error. When a stroke of unexpected luck sends her back to the nearest tent city, things go sideways.

The gang leaders of the city give her two options: die on the spot, or undertake a dangerous mission out into the Wastes. With her brother's future on the line, she'll have to decide if blood is still thicker than water.

Some interesting ideas and characters, good narration, once or twice felt a little contrived but well worth a listen and want to find out what happens next.

Yeah, surprised that I came across this story not really a genre I listen to but it was really enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I definitely recommend it.

I liked the Language, characters ,gagets, setting and the old lady who ran the inn

I love this book and the narriator. The characters were well planned i was able to see the wastelands in my mind eyes
