About this listen

Why did the Sphere choose him? Can Kai master and control the powers it bestows?

In a world ravaged by endless battles and wars, the life of an ordinary person is as fleeting as a moment. Kai, a young orphan raised in a remote shelter, struggles daily for mere survival. But when he faces the brutal realities of his world, his fate takes an unexpected turn.

Mysterious circumstances lead him to the mystical Sphere, an artifact that unlocks untapped powers. From that moment on, Kai gains abilities beyond his wildest dreams.

Despite his newfound powers, Kai doesn't seek to become a hero or change the world. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, he embarks on a journey of discovery. Majestic landscapes, ancient cities, and hidden secrets of his world reveal themselves to him.

Join Kai as he explores this vast universe, uncovering its hidden corners and experiencing the full spectrum of emotions that come with his new abilities. Don't miss the chance to witness this incredible tale! No harem, no romance, no weak main character.

what happens when you take an orphan, kill those around them and then set a world that has no finer emotions in it. OK its not a love story, that's as billed. But the rest of it is as void of substance, just clever world forming and a good combat system

the story concepts are good, typical litrpg without a true system but either the narrator or the author added almost constant "HaHAha" to show the characters attitude. After the first half I was grinding my teeth everytime. still worth a listen but be prepared for lots of the exact same laughing from almost every character.

Good story but weak emoting

Didn’t know what to expect with this book but found my self pleasantly surprised to find it highly under rated in my opinion.

I’ve read a large amount of litrpg’s and cultivation books and a good number of them have crazy good ratings but in my opinion definitely arnt as good at this read.

Pleasantly surprised
