Sooo emotional, so raw, sooo good.
Ryan West and Callie Dalton as Dorian and Harper provided the perfect voice delivery to our main characters and side characters.
I’m loving not just the couple’s love stories but the family dynamics and plot line of plenty more things to come.

If you were mine was a well written story that will capture your heart. The Cage family series is one I can't get enough of. This one hits all the emotions with the main characters dealing with grief and the profound loneliness after a great loss. This story features an age-gap, best friends little sister, with a friends to lovers storyline. Dorian and Harper were meant to be and I loved their story!

Narrators Callie Dalton and Ryan West both made this story a very enjoyable listen.

This was good, like finish and listen again to catch all those little bits and pieces that I know I missed as I rushed the first time wanting the HEA so bad. I loved this book so much, the characters were so well written to the point that they felt almost real. I felt their pain and their hope, I cheered on their successes and mourned their lows. This is a wonderful listen.

It’s been a year since the crash that Dorian survived but his friend didn’t and he is still dealing with the aftermath. It is time for him to honor his best friend’s last request which was to be there for his sister and that means denying his feelings for her. That is proving to be difficult as not only is she an honorary member of his family but every instinct in him wants to protect her.

Harper has tried to move on with her life but she feels she is alone except for her beloved dog. Seeing Dorian again brings up the feelings she has always had for him but she doesn’t want him as her protector she wants to be his equal. They are drawn to each other like moths to a flame however not only do they need to heal from the past but deal with the turmoil in the present as well.

Not only is Dorian dealing with the past but he is also keeping a secret hat he worries could jeopardize his relationship with his family. Harper is strong, resilient and supportive as she shows Dorian that he is worthy of love not only from her but his family as well. Ryan West and Callie West bring all the feels as they make the characters relatable and their romance heartfelt.
