I loved this book, the first was good, but this was fantastic, a real emotional rollercoaster with non stop action. Great narration by Kevin Pierce. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Turbulent, book one in this series, had me hooked from the first chapter. So, having loved that book I was extremely eager to know more about these characters that I’d enjoyed hearing about. Could the next instalment give me the same thrill? Could it be as entertaining? Yes, is the simple answer. TL Payne keeps the same level of nail biting tension that was so carefully built up during the first book and adds to it with each chapter of this one. There are some hard decisions to make for Maddie and co. in this story. Given what is happening to the world around them can there truly be a right answer? I’ve loved this book as much as the first. A really enjoyable story that’s well written, recommended.
Kevin Pierce returns to narrate this book with the same skill and talent as he did the first. His voice is wonderful with a deep rich timbre that adds weight to the story. The characters come to life with seemingly effortless ease for him like he’s chatting with close friends. The tension the characters experience is conveyed to the listener very well. I think Kevin Pierce is the perfect narrator for this series. Great story and a first class narration.
