About this listen
The tall alien's eyes flashed. That was the only warning I got. He charged at me, throwing my crewmates aside as if they were nothing.
In that moment, I was certain he would kill me.
But no death blow came. Instead, he spoke, his deep voice heavily accented, each word like stone slabs falling into place.
"You are mine."
Clay
I don't ask for much from life; I get paid, and then I get laid. And piloting spaceships across the galaxy keeps my solo lifestyle well-funded. I don't need a relationship or any of the baggage that comes with it. I like my men like I like my coffee; to go.
That is, until the most boring job in the universe goes horribly wrong and I'm snatched from my ship by a seven-foot alien. He's huge, he's purple, and he's ripped as hell. I'm sure I'm a dead man.
Only it turns out he doesn't want to kill me. What he wants is far worse.
Arcay
I am the Second; Aldar royalty, the right hand of our leader. I live a half-life. On my planet, alphas and omegas are believed to be two halves of a soul. But Omegas are a rare treasure, all but extinct, and I have resigned myself to never knowing the joy of a soul bond.
But that all changes the moment I step onto the human ship. By some miracle, their pilot is an unclaimed omega. It does not matter that he is a different species, I have to have him.
That should be my happy ending; omegas are supposed to be meek, obedient, and willing. Clay is anything but. He resists me at every turn. I must bend him to my will before his potent pheromones draw every unmated alpha on the ship–my rank will only hold them back for so long.
How to Train Your Human Omega is a beauty and the beast retelling in the form of an action-packed, spicy, M/M sci-fi romance (with no mpreg) featuring an alien race of beefcakes, a stubborn human, and a very confused and grumpy alien trying to find his happily ever after in all the wrong ways. This book is the first in the Coveted Bonds series, with overarching storylines and recurring characters. Each story follows a different couple to their HEA. For mature listeners.
©2024 Arden Fox (P)2025 Podium AudioHow did I get here? How is this book NOT EVERYWHERE? OMG, this is a blasphemy.
No, no, no. Everyone and their mama's need to read this book ASAP.
WOW. JUST WOW. OH, GOD, THIS WAS SO GOOD.
Clay & Arcay, OMG, BABIES. OMG, OMG, MY PERFECT BABIES.
Oh, this book was AMAZING.
This is all over the place, but I can't form proper words. You have to read it. The story is too good.
If I say anything plot related, I'll give things away, and I don't want that. I went into this book blindly and fell in love irrevocably. Soul bonding. Wink, wink.
Clay & Arcay's relationships is unconventional. It started in the worst way possible, but the way they fell in love is everything. Cultural differences what? Guuurl, this is the perfect example of "if he wanted to, he would've." I swear...
The character development when it comes to Arcay is everything. The way he changed from page one till we got to the epilogue is so beautiful. So, precious. The way he fell for Clay, his beautiful human omega, is everything. Clay is the typical commitmentphobe, but with the help of his 7ft purple alien, he got to a point where old wounds (if you must) started to heal themselves.
Their story is about finding your soulmate, your soul bound, and the power that has is something so beautiful to witness. Oh, I'm in love. It's like I was soul bonded with them.
I'll read and re-read this book 1000x, or if I'm being honest, listen to the audiobook, which, btw was TOP TIER. The narrators did a spectacular job.
If you can go into this book blindly (read the TW tho, but that's it), trust the process and enjoy the ride, cuz, oh, boy, what a wild ride this will be.
A gazillion stars, all the galaxies, highly, highly recommend.
I would give all the stars in the sky to read this again for the first time

It takes a little suspension of disbelief, but after a rocky start the main characters start to understand each other better and the relationship that develops is great.
Can recommend for anyone looking for some drama, spice, and action.
The good side of alien abduction stories
