I appreciated Montoni's emphasis on the agency we have to stop overthinking. She gave good descriptions of different therapeutic techniques. Her explanation of the different types of overthinking, the link between anxiety and overthinking, and our need for community showed how healing must begin with self and go beyond just our partner. I loved the quotes she cited to begin each chapter. My favorite was: "The present is the only time over which we have domination."

I enjoyed this audiobook quite a bit as I am a constant overthinker. This covers a lot of info and is written and read in a positive way that makes it very easy to follow and understand without getting too hard on yourself. I loved all of the tips and guidance and the narrator s fantastic!
