Friendly review here! :)

I must say I’ve never struggled to talk to people and make friends. Nevertheless this book provided handy tips and context around great social interactions. If you struggle with this then it’s definitely a must read!

Full of encouragement and positivity

This is a great, positive and compassionate audiobook while providing many great communication and friendship tips. I especially enjoyed the small talk tips as that's something I'm super bad at. I've always envied how others can make friends with strangers so easily! The tips are great and I've already had some great conversations I believe I wouldn't have had otherwise. Would definitely recommend!

A brilliant guide on how to make real friends!

My youngest son just left for college this year and with him being shy, I knew he was going to have a rough time making new friends. After reading this book, I realized that I can help him because it's packed with useful tips and tricks parents can use to encourage even the most introverted kids. It explains strategies to help them overcome their awkwardness and form new friendships at college or if they've moved away for a new job. And, as a single mom, I've also learnt a lot about why I haven't got many friends. The book has given me the courage and know-how to get out there and start making more authentic connections instead of sitting at home feeling lonely. I loved the chapter on ways to enjoy the holiday season if you live alone too and feel like a whole new world of possibilities is awaiting me. A really great listen and full of compassionate insights for anyone who wants to make new friends, I highly recommend this fantastic book!

I needed this and I'm extroverted

While I think I'm extroverted, I'm not, so I was looking forward to hearing this.

This audiobook was put together by the author in an outstanding manner.

I've always found it challenging to make friends, mainly because I'm overly fearful of approaching strangers.

Even though, deep down, I think I am okay with it!

Of course, we all like to think we are then worry about it later.

I have even had panic attacks occasionally.

When starting small talk conversations with people, there is solid advice and confidence.

This audiobook is excellent for introverts or people who need to make friends more easily! However, even extroverted people can adopt the advice for making friends quickly!

It is excellent if you are going on a solo vacation or holiday!

I have been there, and it can create unwanted worry.

Take this with you and listen on the flight!

Clear and Informative!

I was in search of a book that could help with the worry of seeing teenagers stay on their own without having friends around them. The book came in handy to give insight into what I can personally do to help and even as a parent, I was able to see practical ways of meeting new people and nurturing lifelong relationships. This book is recommended for young people who are lonely or find it hard to make friends as it will help build confidence if the recommended skills are practiced.

Needed this!

The author has done an amazing job in putting this audiobook together. I’ve always been an introvert and found it hard in making new friends, mainly due to overthinking on ways to start a conversation with strangers. The chapter on Art of Small Talk was really informative and gave me solid advice and confidence in starting small talk conversation with people. Highly recommended audiobook for shy or introverted people to adopt the advice in making friends easily wherever you are!

I highly recommend

I picked up this book because of my teenage daughter, who was always quiet and peaceful hiding in the school classes, instead of going out to see other children. After a few days, I noticed the difference, friends started taking my daughter home, calling for her to go to the park. I do not know how the author managed it, but I am very grateful to her for it. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous advice!

This really well executed book is full of simple, and really good advice on how to develop friendships in a variety of circumstances. Top tips for those of us who are not so confident in social relationships and shy away from crowds or are often afraid of meeting new people. The chapters are short and succinct, give key points at the end and all in all, make for a really enjoyable listen.
I love a pdf to accompany the audible book as well, always a super bonus just to look through and maybe print a few memorable pages.

I really enjoyed the narrator’s voice as well. Really good experience! Highly recommended!
