Story
Myth is our wild way of telling the truth, of sharing stories that have our living earth speaking through them. There is an old insistence that we each have a twin we know nothing about. A wild, curious twin that was thrown out the window the night we were born, taking much of our energy with them. This story is a quest to find and court our wild twin, for they have something important to tell us. If there was something we were here to do in our few, brief years, we can be sure that the wild twin is holding the key.

Anything by Clarrisa, especially the dangerous old woman series. she's like a true mentor for women, teaching us to our very bones what we really need to listen too. Her research is splendid, informative and her intuition is mind blowingly accurate. I couldn't imagine my life without her, she's become a close friend to me through her writings. Like water on dry land
This book - her voice - is pure medicine. I bought 'The Women Who Run With Wolves' 20 years ago, so I already know the stories she talks about, but now in a slightly different perspective. She puts words to my longing for true connection, to the openness and vulnerability that is required in true love. I lie down flat and surrender to this truth about relationship.

Great book
Would you consider the audio edition of How to Love a Woman to be better than the print version?
Yes I would. This allows me to read it more then once to absorb all the content while driving my car.
What did you like best about this story?
An insight to what women are really like and how they think.
What about Clarissa Pinkola Estes’s performance did you like?
I love the way she tells the stories with so much feeling.
What did you learn from How to Love a Woman that you would use in your daily life?
I learned how to be a better husband and a better man. The 12 things to look for in a mate are especially helpful. For me it is too late to choose a mate but not too late to aspire to possess the attributes in the 12 things. If we all work on being those 12 things our relationships with both women and men will go much smoother.
Any additional comments?
Carrissa Estes has a real insight as to what women want and how to have a relationship with women. I learned so much I took notes to reflect back on when I need help.
Great book with lots of great stories.
