This is the first book in the Guardian Angel Series, a Paranormal Romance. I loved Claire and Daniel's forbidden romance. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. The storyline is slow paced, unique, original, and interesting. J.D. Hart did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Underworld Lover, the next book in the series. Loved the narration from J.D. Hart

This book deals with the battle of good vs evil , We meet Claire who is a guardian angel. Her newest charge is Daniel, an artist, who after a break up with his girlfriend has decided to take his life. Now even though Claire record for saving her charges is perfect so is the dark angel who is also fighting for Daniel. While protecting and guiding Daniel she quickly falls in love with him as he does with her, the angel from his dreams. Will their love win out or will darkness prevail.

There is sexual tension and some good sexy scenes in here too.

I loved the story; the narration was excellent. The resolution to the "drama" between dark and light was a bit anti-climatic, and the HEA was predictable, but everything that came before it was interesting, well-written, and kept me listening to see how it would all play out. I felt Daniel's despair, and Claire's confusion. The emotional components we well-done, and the world building was fairly well fleshed out. I look forward to reading/listening to other installments in this series.
