What a cracking author I loved the 1st book and this 2nd was just as good. .exciting unpredictable twists and turns. I can’t wait to read the final book.

Great continuation of the haldhero story. If you're interested in writing definitely listen to the authors notes in the end. I found them quite interesting!

I love the stories being rolled out and enjoy the humor and characters. I am still very excited to read the last book.
A key quality item with these books is that each is its own clear chapter in a bigger picture, without making you feel like it was one book chopped into 3. The bad news is that this plot felt a bit rushed or perhaps pushed. The middle ground felt flat and the author even admits that in the end notes. It may be that this should have had a rewrite. But then that would slow the output and I need to read the last book now (grin). While it is funny some of the characters are a bit too stereotyped. So that may be something you like or not. Overall - great fun.
