I'm not a girly girl so I prefer the original brothers Grimm stories with are more gruesome but I like that these stories are more modern. But two of the stories are very similar to each other. And there a bit happy ending without the hardship of the originals Grimm.missing the grim

This is a fabulous collection of short stories, based on fairy tales, that have a different sparkle to them. Although marketed for the young adult genre, I thoroughly enjoyed them without even considering that they were in that genre. Short, sweet and uplifting; I would recommend to anyone.Brilliant
