I enjoyed this short read. This is book three in the series and this time the author instead of getting stuck in a rut has mixed it up slightly by not having a murder to investigate. This gives her plenty of time to give the characters some more background and for the romance to start to blossom. Don't get me wrong there is still a mystery to solve it just doesn't take center stage. To be honest I didn't know the story was near the end and I was surprised when the culprit was revealed, So that who I was expecting or why but I loved the punishment, a nice end to a clean cozy that is just perfect for the holiday season.
Charity is helping the local church get ready for the holiday season by providing decorations from her craft shop but a trip out into the cemetery has her investigating a new case. Someone is digging up graves and the twins, Margo and Rita want her to get to the bottom of it before the festivities begin, like the gingerbread house contest or old family traditions.
I liked the narrator and think she is a good choice for the series as she helps bring the characters to life.

Some mysteries are just too hard to ignore. It's not cool at all to dig up or around people's graves...it just isn't. So when this starts happening in the local cemetery, local sleuth extraordinaire, Charity Basham, is asked to investigate. All the while Christmas is quickly coming and loads of hot chocolate abounds! Great clean mystery! Loved it! Great narrator!
