About this listen

This war is not being played on a battlefield.

Killed by the man she loves, not even death is kind to Zoey.

Neither life nor her fae powers will let her go in peace.

In this final installment, Zoey's strength, determination, and trust are put to the ultimate test. In the fight to protect the people she loves and stop DMG from experimenting on fae, humans, and animals to create soldiers, she learns the reality of how far Dr. Rapava will go to achieve his ultimate mission.

Of course, Rapava is not the only one willing to go to extremes. Vadik is hunting Ryker, and there is nothing he won't do to get back the property he feels is his: both Ryker and the Stone of Destiny.

To end one evil, Zoey might have to make a deal with another. One she won't be able to get out of. And it could be the worst decision she ever made.

I really enjoyed this book series and binged it over a bank holiday weekend. You can’t help but fall in love with the monkey.

Good storyline overall . predictable in parts and surprising at times.
downloaded 4 booked using credit narration was let down by poor recording in parts where the otherwise excellent narrator was a to sound like she was under water!.
nevertheless, i would recommend this series.

very enjoyable read.

Books 2 and 3 are by far the best for me. I found the main character annoying in all of them but the most in 1 and 2. I feel like character development that happened across books 2 and 3 was ignored in this book to try and create tension but all it did was annoy me and take me out of the story because it didn’t feel believable. It’s a shame because I loved the story and at times I really liked the characters, I loved Sprig and the pirate!
I personally really liked the narrator, but this book was odd, there was lots of times where it sounded like a comment had been added in at a later date, so the recording suddenly sounded really different, different tone, sound quality and loudness which kept taking me out of the book. Would have been better without those comments, but that’s not the fault of the narrator.
Whilst I was irritated by certain things overall it was a really good story and I loved the world building.

Liked the story overall
