About this listen

Becca McKenzie is happy - crazy, ridiculously happy.

She might not have figured out what she wants to do with her life, but she has something better - Ryan Jackson - and they couldn't be more in love if they tried. He might have been pissed when she went off to a different college, but they make the long distance work because they're "Becca and Ryan", and nothing is going to break them.

Until it does.

Until one terrible, unforgettable night away from Ryan. Until too much drinking and one empty bedroom. Until 15 minutes of hell completely destroys her life and leaves Becca questioning everything she's ever known. Until that night turns into a lie she can't stop - can't control.

Until she said no but he didn't listen.

Contains mature themes.

I cry every time I read this book, and I keep re-reading it so that's on me. But the way the voice actors tore my emotions apart is amazing. I knew everything that was coming and I still couldn't prepare myself enough

The way I cried!

This is a great book which deals with sexual assault and rape.
This book is extremely human and understandable and I truly enjoyed it as it told both sides of the story the male and female and the steps they needed to take to recover from such a life changing event.
10/10 great book

This book had me shouting at it and crying the whole way through. What a beautifully written, sensitive storyline. The book is very real to real, true reactions. The way main character deals with it. The way that other teenagers react to what they thought had happened
Teenagers are very reactive and so the story feels so realistically. I have listened to this book a few times now and honestly has me crying and on edge every time.

Surprising, emotional roller-coaster
