Let’s hope Tarantino or someone does film the novel - a decent parable on war and it’s effects on those near it.

I was expecting just an all out, action story Rambo feels so synonymous with the mindless action of the films. It’s difficult to remember sometimes that this story is more about the struggles of PTSD and the treatment of veterans who come home from the war. I really liked the film, but the fourth is phenomenal.

I have seen Rambo movie many times but this was very interesting and kept me wanting to listen more to it!
Driving from work to home I was hoping for slower driving pace simply to listen to 2-3 mins more!
What a book and what a story teller!

Purchased this book by mistake as I actually wanted another Morrell book. Thought I’d just have a listen to see. The message from the author was very interesting and so I carried on to the story. Nothing to loose. Wow. I was hooked from the start. It was a fascinating listen and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
