Summary

One will change your life. One will end it. Who will find you first?

It’s a deadly race against time....

Tech billionaire Miles has more money than he can ever spend and everything he could dream of - except time. Now facing a terminal illness, Miles knows he must seize every minute to put his life in order. And that means taking a long, hard look at his past.

Somewhere out there, Miles has children. And they might be about to inherit both the good and bad from him - possibly his fortune, or possibly something more sinister.

So Miles decides to track down his missing children. But a vicious killer is one step ahead of him. One by one, people are vanishing. Not just disappearing - every trace of them is wiped.

Critic reviews

"Find You First starts with a bang and ends with an even bigger one. Barclay is a terrific writer, but he’s outdone himself with this. It’s the best book of his career. I couldn’t put it down, and you won’t be able to, either. If you enjoy thrillers, this is the real deal. It never lets up." (Stephen King)

"A full-throttle powerhouse of a thriller - Linwood Barclay is in a class of his own." (T. M. Logan)

"Barclay has a knack for turning news stories or social trends into rambunctious black-comedy thrillers full of sharply drawn fools and knaves." (Sunday Times, Thriller of the Month)

Great book - I couldn’t “put it down”

This is the first book I have listened to/read by Linwood Barclay. It was really engaging from the first chapter. The storyline of the millionaire looking for his children seemed like a straightforward plot, but there are lots of twists that make the story really intriguing.

I shall definitely be listening to more Linwood Barclay books in the future.

WOW

I heard the synopsis through a radio advert but missed the Author’s name and the title. It took nearly a month to find the missing details but it was worth the effort. Amazing intricate storytelling, character development and plot twists.

Narrator is excellent as are his “voices”

I would highly recommend this book and will be purchasing another Linwood Barclay.

Excellent short listen

Loved this book from start to finish, nice characters, but above all great storyline and good twists. Nice holiday book once the madness has ended and we can travel.

Not bad, but not great.

Couple of huge coincidences spoiled this for me. Narration was fine, but book only okay.
