Loved this short series! It kept popping up on my Facebook feed and decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did! Great characters and a believable story line. Think there is room for maybe another book really maybe following a certain bad character who proves otherwise and his future bride maybe! I didn’t want it to end! great book

loved all these books. story has you gripped from the start. Read well by the narrator. only wish there was a further book about what happened next to the group.

So much going on it’s hard to know whalers to start. It was action packed from the start. They all faced so many hurdles but finally got back to all being together. The detail put in about the way America was when they went back and the challenge they all faced made really great reading. I was hoping to find out that they did leave the island eventually or if some didn’t who stayed. They seemed to have a good set up and given what they would be going back to, I think i would have stayed another year to ensure they had power and all the survivors weren’t fighting and looting still. I really enjoyed this story more than I thought I would.

I liked the idea of this and it didn’t fail to keep me interested. Narrators really good, helps to ‘take you there’. What would we do if this happened? Scary thought but great story to listen to. Recommended!
